Warung Filadelphia is an indonesian restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 1927 S 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145, which places it among the local businesses of Philadelphia that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

This was probably my favorite Indonesian food I've had in America. The fried duck was perfect. 5 stars for sure hopefully can stop back before returning home. Had a nice conversation with a couple who are native to the area.

An absolutely incredible dining experience. It's a small spit with a few tables to dine in. Owner was really friendly and made great suggestions of what to eat. After finishing a delicious iced coffee, I had two of my favorite things I've ever eaten in Philly. The Tahu Petis tofu appetizer and the spare rib meal with chili sauce. Out of this world good. Indonesian food at it's finest here; a must stop for any foodie.

Update!!: We came back a week later because I was really craving their Nasi Goreng again. They made it just how I like it again without shrimp. They even called us back on the phone on our way there to make sure the chicken was fine which I thought was really sweet. When my husband went inside to grab it for us, he decided to also order their Nasi Ayam last minute which is their fried chicken. He said the ladies working inside were super friendly and they made the Nasi Ayam very quickly for him after they had already made our Nasi Goreng. When we got home and ate them, they were both so good!! My Nasi Goreng was perfect like last time. The Nasi Ayam was fun to try and also great!! I also added updated pictures of our takeout plates this time. The presentation of the plates are very nice. Original: We got their Nasi Goreng for takeout to eat at home and it was soooooo good. I took a picture halfway through eating but it also comes with a fried egg on top. We got the sambal on the side but I think next time we will have them cook it with it because they offer that also. I don't like seafood and they were kind enough to make it for us without the shrimp seasoning. This is going to be

Delicious Indonesian food in South Philly. It was our first time going there and will definitely go back again. They specialize in East Java cuisine and will definitely be added to my rotation for Indonesian restaurants in Philly. We had ayam penyet (spicy fried chicken), ribs, and beef meatball soup. All were really delicious and Iβd recommend others to try. If you donβt like spicy food, I was told that the fried chicken can be made mild (served minus the chili sauce). The owner was really accommodating and made suggestions based on our taste preferences.

Had dinner with a friend, both of us being from Singapore. Food is amazing, fulfilling our Southeast Asian palettes (combination of spicy, sweet and sour). I had an ayam penyet (pictured) - fried chicken had the crispy skin and tender meat and coated with the chilli (you can request chilli to be separated). My friend had a bakso campur which was flavorful. A shared tahu telor was good too. Amazing and would recommend to any ASEAN folks, especially from Nusantara, but also anyone interested to try good Indonesian cuisine.
